Some can and some can't, depends on what's inside them Which one do you have? Its the product# on the label on the bottom.

See if the issue happens in safe mode as well.

Sounds like something to do with sleep or hibernate. Try deactivating them one at a time to help isolate the source of the issue.

Is this at the Bios (Before windows starts loading) or after windows loads (ie - your user password)?

Win 8 & 10 don't actually shutdown. They enter a hybrid sleep state. Try holding down shift when you click shutdown.

S Protection is often an issue with the speakers or wiring, Check for a short.

There really isn't much of an upgrade for you besides sell and buy a new one. You could upgrade the graphics cards but it would be over $2k for used without a warranty. Not worth it IMO.

Not unless you use it to install windows. Also, any files you don't want to lose should already be backed up. You never know when your main drive will die... A backup is an extra copy, not your only copy.. I recommend at least 2 extra copies so that when the main drive dies, your backup...

I'm guessing the Vizio does not have the red,while,&yellow ports then? And the VCXR does not have an HDMI port... In that case you will need a converter similar to This one to convert the anaolog signals into one digital hdmi signal.
