The more popular laptop screen sizes are 15.6 and 17.3 inch. Are you wanting a thin profile laptop with less performance, or a thicker laptop with better performance? Do you have any screen quality requirement, such as a type of resolution like 1920x1080 or a UltraHD 2k/4k screen?

If you don't need portability, always go with a Desktop build, more "future proof" with better cooling, more room to upgrade stuff, faster components in general.
