Hello,
I am going to buy a laptop very soon and i have no idea what to look for. It's not like PC,building it so yeah. What i looking for is:
-Good build quality
-Light design ( i am going to be programmer so i don't really think a heavy one like gaming laptop would be suitable for me,correct me if i am wrong)
-Good battery life
-Good Camera (not so important)
-High quality display
-Good audio
-Good processor and video card for gaming (not heavy one but to be able to handle games pretty good)
Overall that's it.Something hybrid between a business laptop and gaming laptop with good battery life.I don't know if my demands are actually realistic but that's what i am looking for.And about the money probably 800-900$.Yeah and 15 inch screen.

Lol, I like how you say not a gaming laptop then want to game on it. But i get what you mean ;-)

Just some general tips,

I always advise people looking at buying a laptop of any kind to take note of what warranty options are available and if it is good value, I thnk I've bought about 6 laptops in my time, and at least 5 of them have had issues requiring warranty repair. If you are are a handy person who would like to fix it yourself, then check the availablity of parts etc on ebay.

For good battery life I would recomend a recent intel CPU with low power rating, and an SSD (although adding an SSD after is sometimes cheaper.

Graphics is a tricky one because its always a trade with battery life and heat/portability. I normally see the dell XPS range as a good starting point as you can get decent graphics without gaming rig prices or size. I am still very happy with my L702x and its 3 years old and on a new batter can get about 6 hours of light work, although build quality varies from one generation to the next.

I've also noted Toshiba seem to have very affordable warrenties.

Urumiko, your advice is to look for a laptop with a good warranty?
Velo3100,usually i am not playing anything graphic intensive, but if i happen to want to install graphic intensive at least i want to be able to run it.For example i am not fan of battlefield but if someday i decide to play it i want to be able to handle the game.
The only concern i have with lenovo y50 is the camera and battery life i read it is only 1 hour ? I dont know is it true.So if you can recommend me a few laptops based on what i want(if possible) and i will choose.

I would get this laptop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834198054.
Its light, it can handle everything you have said and it should last based on the specs. I don't know how long this laptop will last as it is one of the less known brands but if anyone has had this laptop, could you please share your experience with it.

The only 2 things to note on this build would be,

1) No SSD by default(can be added later)
2) Really Large / Thick laptop.

The reason I said this laptop is that the large screen maybe a bit cumbersome to carry but it will make a huge difference when you are writing lines of code and creating multiple classes which all refer to each other. This is when a large screen pays off as you can have more of your code more visible and have more of them open and have them side by side instead of having to switch between windows.

Uhm are you aware if there is gonna be a next gen of lenovo y50,because it's been already around a year since it came out.If not others laptop that are announced and are expected to be good?

I am aware that new laptops are coming out fast but the laptop I chose is if you want to buy a laptop currently. There will always be better laptops than the one I chose if you want and hardware rapidly is increasing in power. The question is how long do you want to wait.
