Can it actually be windows 10 pro? I was thinking on formatting and using the licence that came with the computer to install vanilla windows 10 home instead of their bloated recovery. But somehow i cant see how home vanilla will fix it over windows 10 pro

I am more interested on fixing the pen, th eother issue is in one program only... any ideas on how to fix the pen it must be a software issue.

Thanks the liltank ill wait for other replies to see if there is another work around. In any case ill exchange it for another spectre but i doubt is a hardware issue.

You mean a surface, even though is more expensive? I think is a software issue since in did a clean install.

Already tried it by uninstalling it and letting windows install again.

Today i contacted HP support because i have 2 main issues on the HP Spectre X2(2017): 1) In some applications and even some windows 10 windows i have blurry text. I tried the adjust clear text and it helps a little but that is all. Scaling windows down just makes everything tiny and not visible...

@rgd1101 the factory reset comes in a separate partition? I can install vanilla windows without worrying on loosing HP factory reset?

I found something perfect for me but it lacks netflix and amazon prime streaming. The Micca G2 i am looking something like that but with netflix compatibility. Anything on amazon USA would do it. I buy everything from there.

Wow @usaFRET that will do it. Now out of curiosity if i have an official windows disc and i install it on the surface would i need to do any settings changes to get the best performance using the surface? Or the windows on desktop has the same settings as the fresh setting that came in the surface?

Seems cool but like i specified i need a dedicated device such as a ps3 or media player device. PC consumes lot of power and i can plug my desktop to my TV that easily is far away. anything like a phone or tablet wont do either.
