for general usage it doesn't matter much. generally 4th generation processors are bit more efficient than 3rd.

Yes this is very good setup for WOW. Will play it on max setting anywhere but 25s. not even the best of the computers can play 25s at 60 FPS. in 25s you should get atleast 20-30 FPS if you tone down setting a bit. on max setting you will lag.
