ok. so...when you say recorder, are you talking about the camera or the software used to record? because if are talking about the software, I tried a bunch of them, and always get the 720p. I have usb ss and usb ss lightning, shoudnt that be fast enough? -

Hi, When I connect my external camera to my laptop to record video trough usb, Windows only allows me to record in 720p. Is it possible to record in 1080p trough usb? And yes, the camera on is own records in 1080p, if not connected to the laptop.
