    Thanks, What I mean by double sound is that when playing the Samsung DVD player, I get both the TV audio, whatever channel it's on, plus the DVD sound. The DVD sound is coming out of the TV and the TV sound is coming out of the sound bar. I'll try it your way with no HDMI to the sound bar from...

    Having trouble hooking up sound bar, cable box, TV and DVD player. Have great sound with TV cable but get double sound when trying to play DVD. Using HDMI cables in different configurations with no luck....Help?
