I will soon have access to a new Ac adapter to check if it is a malfunctioning Ac adapter, it now says no battery is detected but turns on fine

I would have to open up the laptop to remove the battery and do not have to tools at the moment. I believe I have the latest BIOS currently installed, but I cannot update it now because I have 0% charge. I checked in the BIOS to see if the adapter is getting detected but it says Unknown, Battery...

Heyo guys I have the new Dell xps 13 and I've only had it a couple months, it was working perfectly and all off a sudden I got the plugged in not charging issue I have no idea what to do.
