ASUS Suite 2/Cpu-z CPU Frequency Question

That's the thing, it doesn't. It stays around 3.5ghz - 3.7ghz when it's not under load. When it is, it does the same. But that is not the case for ASUS' reader. That one shows that it drops from 3.5ghz to 1.6ghz When not under load.

ASUS Suite 2/Cpu-z CPU Frequency Question

I've noticed that CPU-Z is giving me a different speed reading on my CPU than ASUS Suite. Is there a reason why the reading in CPU-Z is higher? Note: I do have C states and Intel Speed Step turned on.
