Verizon Offers Cable Channels by Genre

The article does say that they don't let you pick more then 2 packages, as it would be more expensive then getting the normal service. So if you only care about a very finite number of channels, then it makes more sense. I definitely like the direction streaming services are going, but for me...

Apple Acquisition Could Give Next iPhone DSLR-Like Camera

Why do I think this has more to do with the cameras supporting depth then for DSLR support? Apple owns PrimeSense (designer of the tech that became the Kinect), and Intel, Google, and others are playing integrating what is essentially a Kinect into a phone/tablet. Apple tends to take...

First BlackBerry 10 Phone Won't Have Physical Keyboard

As Zingam has said, this has been known for quite some time. I just find it funny that people think that one size fits all. Just go all touch right? There are people out there that have iPads, iPhones, Android phones and tablets and still carry a, usually, company issued BlackBerry because they...

RIM Nuking PlayBook App Side-loading Over Piracy Concerns; Calls Android Market

I'm setting myself up for trouble, but what makes sideloading so important? To get apps that were rejected? To get the ones that people don't want to put on the market? Is it to get pirated apps? Development? Or something else? If it's development, they have stated) that they view sideloading...

Opinion: 5 Letdowns of the New iPad - Is It Good Enough?

On the one line "touch-sensitive bezel". It's not like anyone has done that before... Sent from my BlackBerry PlayBook.

    RIM's PlayBook Dated & Priced, Pre-Orders Start

@dark_lord69: Flash was one of the first selling points presented when the PlayBook was introduced. Netflix and Hulu will have dedicated apps if it happens to run Android apps, otherwise you should be able to use the browser versions. I will be interested to see how/if this gets popular.

Report: RIM Allows Saudi Arabia to Monitor Users

From what I remember reading about the BlackBerry networking system, RIM's statement still stands. There aren't any "codes", there are public and private servers. RIM can't get to the private (businesses/BES) servers but they do have the public servers and those are usually per-carrier (they...

$188 is How Much the iPhone 4 Hardware is Worth

Did anyone else notice that the Application Processor is listed as Samsung A4 instead of Apple A4? I know Apple didn't actually design/make it and there are articles proving it but is this a solid fact or did iSupply guess on who made the chip?

    BlackBerry Tablet Arriving in 2011?

Not going to happen, RIM has already said that they weren't making a tablet.

BlackBerry Users Restless, Disloyal to Brand

I will be sticking with my BlackBerry Storm. The problem RIM has is that they are sluggish. A fully WebKit based browser will be coming out maybe July/August after people have complained about it since the first iPhone came out. Luckily you can install other browsers. If all you look at is App...

Heroic BlackBerry Stops Bullet, Saves Woman

BlackBerry saves. What I want to know is why was there a guy that had a loaded gun in his coat pocket?

Anti-IE6 Petition Submitted to UK Government

Even Microsoft wants people who use IE6/7 to upgrade (though you don't need to use it)

Verizon Forcing Subscribers to Use Bing?

Did the author of this article not use his BlackBerry for the past year or two? Stuff like this has popped up on my BlackBerry for a while now, I simply select it and choose Hide. It doesn't take any real space (about 1kb), it's called Pushed applications and it is avalible to whoever provides...
