Question Laptop USB ports suddenly not working

It is likely to be a motherboard problem which powers the USB ports, unless the USB ports on this laptop have a separate board which would be easier to replace

Solved! Toshiba keyboard not letting me type certain letters

Laptop stops charging randomly when using a new charger.(Lenovo y50-70)

Hi. To work out the power rating on the AC adapter you need to multiply the voltage by the current. In your case you have replaced a 135watt supply with a 120 watt supply so this could well be the problem.

bios all settings is unacceptable to change HELP. toshiba setup utility

You may have a BIOS supervisor password set which is preventing most of the changes from within the BIOS. If this is the case you would need to enter the password. On Toshiba laptops it is normally F12 on startup to access the boot menu

    Keyboard not working

It looks likely the problem is a hardware problem. You could try reseating the keyboard cable, if this doesn't work a keyboard replacement may be needed. This is a fairly simple procedure for most laptops.

    Booting problem in laptop.

Hi. The fault could be one of many things. Could be a memory fault - if you run a memory test this should indicate if this is the problem. Another issue could be overheating caused by a faulty fan or heatsink. There may also be a motherboard fault resulting in the intermittent problem
