I've been told that both cables have been tested before i started on the projects; however, you never know. Right now i feel like the adapters are in the wrong spot. The inputs are next to the subwoofer input, this is the spot where i have the exact same receiver operating a different subwoofer...

I was told that using a coax cable would work as long as i had an RCA adapter going into the sub and then an adapter going from the other end into the RCA plugs for the sub woofer. All units are brand new, so it shouldnt be the unit itself being the problem. ex. wall -> coax -> rca adapter...
