Again, there is little you can do, if you've removed the RAM and reseated it, and cleared the CMOS, the laptop is clear and should boot. There is no "mode" it could be stuck in. Sounds like a hardware failure. Contact Amazon, they will send you another one.

Its a brand new $1000 laptop that clearly sounds like a hardware failure. Where did you buy it, I would contact them ASAP. The more you mess with it, the more of a chance you won't have a warranty when this is all done. Can you afford to lose that money?

Its likely overheating. What are the specs, how old is it, and have you cleaned out the dust from the cooler underneath anytime recently?

Update: Noticed the "netHD Stratus" app has been delisted from the Google Play Store. They really have got to be kidding me.

I have not yet found any solution to this. I've tried a few more setting changes and nothing has helped. I guess this is what you get for buying some non-name brand product (although the name brand guys do this stuff too). They make some change that borks the whole thing and then "sorry oh well".
