I need a sub $500 facebook machine. I hate Lenovos, I prefer Dell/HP (or any laptop that doesn't have OEM bloatware). I'm very rough with laptops, so nothing made out of paper. Thanks.

I currently use the same laptop and have had nothing but issues since I bought it. The display drivers on the Lenovo website are not good for updating, they seem to be missing something that doesn't allow the switchable graphics. You should analyze the bsod dump and find the offending module...

What is your budget? ~$750(USD) How much battery life do you need? Decent charge when running conservative cpu. I figure most laptops nowadays will run on low cpu settings for at least 10 hours right? Do you want to play games with your laptop? Team fortress 2 / Left 4 dead 2 / Battlefield...
