Update: I was able to copy the files from the flash drive to my C drive, but now the USB still isn't recognized.

This is a flash drive and I tested it on a different computer with no luck. On my computer, it's still not working and the only option I've skimmed over is uninstalling the USB flash drive in Device Manager because I'm afraid of losing my files. But thanks for the tip, I'll keep a separate copy.

Just for a little summary, my USB isn't working, it just says Device descriptor not working. I looked online for answers and one of the most common is uninstalling the USB from device manager. I have loads of files on my USB, so I really don't want to lose them. Thanks for any responses!
