    So you think it is defenitly the laptop settings and not the TV or cable. Any way I will try that option on different TV sets and cables before returning back the laptop. Thanks for the advice.

    Solved! Aquos sharp not compatible with signal

    Running Windows 7 Premium 64 bits, and connecting HDMI cable < 2ft between Laptop and Sharp Aquos, but getting Signal is not compatible. Both devices are brand new; what could be wrong? Any Idea? Thank you Ralph
