If you want Samsung take a look at the "Galaxy Grand Prime" or "Galaxy Core prime". The Grand prime has the best battery life of both smartphones. Rudi

What type Galaxy Core is it? Hows much storage memory has your phone. Normally when you attach your phone to a usb port on your computer, you should find it back in the Explorer, if you use Windows. That way you can copy the music files from the PC to the phone memory. Rudi

On mirrorless camera's like the Sony A6000 or D5100 one can use adapters to use older lenses of differenr brans. Rudi

An entry level DSLR is not really made for video (alltough they do it, you have less control, when you're filming). Better to take a look at a mirrorless. The Panasonic G7 is one of the best, budgetwise, for video. It also can do 4K. Rudi

Have you tried different batteries? Like alcaline primary ones? You could also try to clean the battery terminals.
