Unfortunately this unit is out of warranty (purchased second hand). I contacted the Marantz repair facility in Baltimore - they were helpful and honest. The cost to replace the board is about what I paid for the unit. Not a good deal. I think a new receiver is my only recourse at this point...

Anyone have an idea on how to do a hard reset on a Marantz NR1602 ? Mine died in a firmware update. I've tried the Enter+Return+Power as well as unplugging and waiting. Nothing seems to work (no power light, no display). Marantz support told me to take it to a repair center and the repair...
