That is probably not going to game very well at all. It uses a dual core phenom which is VERY outdated and is also using the lowest AMD integrated graphics. I am not sure of any potential decent gaming laptops with your budget. About the lowest I'd go is this one here...

The only pink or green notebooks i know of are Sony's C series. They are also in a 14" size so theyre right for her. They also come with discrete cards, so it seems to fit your wife just fine :) the only problem is that im not sure where to link you for a place to buy in AUS :\

What you seem to want is Sony Vaio Z series. Just wait on the sandybridge refresh. theyre probably the very best 13.3" laptop money can buy, and even have an option for a 1920x1080 resolution screen, which is amazing in a laptop of that size. they ARE expensive though...
