    Do AVRs boost HDMI signals?

    For instance HTPC > HDMI 10 feet > A/V RECEIVER > HDMI 40 feet > PROJECTOR In this setup, will the AVR boost the signal of HDMI so that it can be carried for a longer distance or it does not effect the strength or it degrades it?
