I'm a fussy one when it comes to headsets. I use the Siberia V2 and I think it's great. It's extremely light and comfortable, the bass could be better but enable bass boost on Windows 7 then it's fine. Mic quality is good as far as I'm aware and overall a great headset.

I have never streamed myself so I'm no expert with ShadowPlay or OBS. Your system seems to be fine for streaming, maybe something wrong within the software you're using.

Streaming puts on a very heavy load on your CPU when streaming, more than you think. That's why you commonly see streamers with an extra streaming PC. You can try lower some settings on OBS/Xsplit and your game to increase performance.
