    my asus taichi21 laptop won't shut down, just goes to sleep, and has to be kept on charger the whole time

    When I push the off switch on my asus taichi21 laptop it only goes to sleep. It does not close down and I have to keep it charging the whole time. Does anybody have any answers or can tell me if there is some other way of shutting the machine down. Thank you.
