I tried the last one already a couple of times, unfortunately didn't work, as well as wiggling it... I was searching for a multi-meter though, to check that effectively the problem is not the charging cable but the power jack or anything else, looking at the AC power adapter output but still...

It seems to be quite hard for this model, that would take some time, but I'd do it. However, is there a way to power up the motherboard without using the power jack in order to make sure that the problem is the jack itself? Thank you anyways!

As specified in the title above, my Asus A54C won't turn on. It was perfectly running some days ago, till I just shut it down as I would have always did, and now just doesn't want to turn back on. The problem would seem to be the charger, since plugging it in to the computer wouldn't make any...
