I have a galaxy s3 and i have a text message conversation thats huge, well over 20,000 texts. I cant delete it. Whenever i try it just locks up and when i go back into the messaging app its still there, as if nothing ever happened. Is there any way to delete it other than a factory reset?

I tried rooting my Verizon SCH-I535 and it gave me an error on the command prompt (i used saferoot) about missing some sort of sh files. Would a factory reset make it ready for rooting?

Whenever I plug my S3 into my PC it doesn't connect. It charges, but it doesn't show up as a device. I've tried switching ports, I've tried installing Samsung Kies, still nothing. How can I get it to connect?

My dad has an old droid and a samsung galaxy s4. He prefers the droid due to the keyboard, would it be possible to have verizon switch his package back to the other phone and have my service put on the galaxy s4? I don't want a data package though, just talk and text.
