    How can i get rid of a black screen upon sign in? The cursor shows up but nothing else! Please help!

    I tried the f8. Still a black screen when signing in. Even tried shutting down and trying f8 again. Won't go to the menu anymore.

    When I turn my Acer on it asks me to log in. I put in my password and it goes to a black screen. The cursor is the only thing on the screen. How can I fix this?
