Cutting a re-crimping a cable for your antenna or for your box isn't a difficult chore by any means. If you'd rather not take that on, as has been suggested, just buy a new cable and you're set to go.

It looks like you're in the market for a new headset or pair of headphones. Temper tantrums break gear and cost you money. Exercise a bit of restraint next time and accept the fact it's just a game. You'll be happier, your gear will last longer, and you'll save money in the long run.

You're not likely to find something like what you're looking for and if you want a noise cancelling set, you're going to have to go with a standalone mic. That said, the sound reproduction in a dedicated set of quality headphones would be better than any "gaming" based set be they noise...

Interesting. Do the items that are taking a long time to load eventually do so or not at all? FB is a beast unto itself and with a host of issues. Your using WiFi could be just one piece in a much larger puzzle. :/

I just thought I'd ask seeing that powerline internet has been known to cause issues like you've described. It's always worthwhile to rule out as many things as possible before coming to the inevitable solution that your worst fear may be realized: Your amp is dying or something is creating a short.

It could be your use of the VPN that's causing the lag. Have you tried using Chrome but without being behind the VPN? Have you tried an alternate browser for the sake of comparison? Lastly, what kind of connection do you have to your Internet: wifi or hard line connection? Are you on cable, DSL...

How do you have it connected? Is it plugged directly into a wall outlet or a power strip? Do you use powerline adapters for Internet in your house or is there anything near the sub which could be contributing to the interference/buzz?

To properly display component video, a cable for it will be required. I don't think using a composite video cable will work if plugged into component.

If your TV has multiple inputs, there has to be a way to select between them with the remote or on the set itself.

Your PSU in the TV could be dead. Also, if you have it plugged into a power strip, the outage may have caused the protection circuit to trip and you simply need to reset your strip. How do you have it plugged in? Strip or direct wall connection?
