    Detachable laptop on monitor?

    I got a used Pavilion X2 detachable notebook laptop from my brother yesterday, was wondering if I could somehow detach the tablet from the keyboard with HDMI plugged from the keyboard to my monitor, and still use it? The tablet gets in the way. Thanks.
