    Yes thank you I read the manual and was confused why exFAT wasn't working when it said it recognizes FAT. I also saw that it said "unpartitioned", so yes his suggestion to partition I knew wouldn't work. Thanks for the help guys. I think in the end I'm just gonna return it and maybe try a 2TB...

    Can a 4TB hdd be made into FAT32? It's not giving me the option for FAT32. It is NTFS, UDF or exFAT.

    I just bought a WD 4TB my book and hooked it up to my TCL LE48FHDF3300Z tv but it says there is no media. I formatted to NTFS and it didn't work. I then formatted to exFAT and still didn't work. Any advice?
