for best protection u need a combination of software, antivirus, antimalware, firewall......every security software like antivirus works different depend the vendor, i suggest u to update all software, plugins, windows ect.....keeping your software updated is a good start to keep windows...

reboot and press F8 a menu will show up.....and select last configuration that worked. if it doesnt work, try to restore windows to a previous date.

this indeed happening in version 3.x, uninstall it and install the new version 5.9 just install the firewall, the antivirus is too immature go to http://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/firewall.php
