I'm no thermodynamics expert but I would imagine, since the laptop was just awake but no heavy programs were running (like games or anything), the laptop itself would not be generating too much heat. It would build up in the case over time, but if the laptop is only generating like 60C of heat...

Hmm, you're right. I've begun to rethink my expectations. I recently made a large profit by selling my sisters 4 years worth of university textbooks. I was going to use the money for a ski trip but perhaps i'll use it to splurge on a laptop. I'm thinking of going with the Razer.
