sound lowers when I use my microphone

Windows might be detecting Ventrillo as a voice communication program. Go into your Windows sound settings by typing "Sound" search. Then go into the Communications tab and change the settings to whatever you like. Edit: Discard my answer as I've seen that you've tried. Try going into Ventrillo...

    H440 Stock fan replacements

Not sure how I could test the PSU fan noise. I've checked the GPU and that's not it, locked it from 30% to 20% and noise was the almost the same. Edit: Not the PSU fan, most noise coming from CPU cooler, guess I'll have to deal with it.

    H440 Stock fan replacements

Thanks for the reply Jack, I might grab one of those Phanteks' to replace my 140mm stock exhaust fan. For the front I can't go with 3x140mm if I were to stay with three fans in front. I can either go 2x140mm or 3x120mm in the front. Not sure which one would be better though.

Is it worth buying the Sennheiser HD 600; for me?

Haven't tried them myself but there are a lot of positive reviews about people loving the sound and comfort. It is a fairly expensive piece of equipment so if you have the cash to throw down and are an audiophile, go for it. There are other cheaper alternatives that will probably satisfy you...

    HP 15-g163nr, AMD AMD Quad-Core A8-6410 APU, 8GB RAM, machine vs Toshiba Satellite L55-B5276 Intel® Core™ i5-4210U

I would go with the AMD solution since it's that much cheaper and she won't be doing any intense tasks. You could use the saved up 120$ to put an SSD in there if desired.

    chipset - CPU compatibility

You won't be able to upgrade the CPU in that laptop. Laptops are usually not able to be upgraded (excluding HDD and RAM) to the exception to certain laptops in the very high-end bracket.
