It works on my HP Envy laptop, although it uses a HDMI to VGA adapter, I dont see why it wouldn't be compatible, because using the same ports with my other monitor yields good results.

Yes, these are brand new cables and work just fine with one monitor but dont seem to do anything with the other, I've tried each cable with the monitor, and even with a different monitor of the same model
