Solved! Lots of general "Before you buy" questions on vr

All the reviews say that the wireless VR works and is great. I haven't heard / seen a bad review. I have not tried it personally, just going off YouTube videos.

Solved! Lots of general "Before you buy" questions on vr

Also.. randomly going through YouTube.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnU7sTGjZBA Which this guy pretty much answers all the questions way better with examples and breakdowns. (why did I come across this link? Because of this VR link.) :P https://youtu.be/EHSE-evh_dc

Solved! Lots of general "Before you buy" questions on vr

    >> Q6: I Honestly Would Just Get A Rift, And Yeah, You Should Wait, Cheaper Is Better, Right? For the most part I agree with everything from Mr. Black, except this one is not an easy question to answer and is nuanced. Here are the points I'd like to add... - There has been an ongoing...

    Solved! Vr laptop to monitor

Hell, I setup a VR Greenscreen Mixed Reality setup in my living room on a whim... trust me when I say a mirrored display is easy! Greenscreen wasn't that hard. The audio and lighting is the trickiest part (on a budget.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwbt91O20zc

    Solved! Vr laptop to monitor

He states a TV or laptop. In that instance, you would make the TV the primary display for the PC, and then the app would copy the output of the game. For a laptop, the same thing... If they want a 3rd monitor with a mirror.. besides having a beefy graphics card, you would just set that to...

    Solved! Vr laptop to monitor

yes. In most cases, the VR application will display the output on the screen. From the question, I am guessing you don't have a VR headset yet? Odd question.

    Oculus playing with vive

But that stated, pretty much anything on Steam will be crossplay that is running on PC. The only cross-play issues you are really going to have are PSVR to PC, as that may use different networks. However anything that requires you to log into a 3rd party system will likely work. (see Star Trek...

    HTC Vive controller tracking issues

I'd do the following... 1) Check your lighthouse alignment. 2) Check your lighthouse optics. (cleanliness is next to godliness.) Test under standard situation after cleaning. a) Better? 3) Turn off all the lights A) Better? (in my xp this should be worse.) 4) Turn on all the lights and get...

Solved! Need help setting up multiplayer

    >> I have both a Vive and Rift and want to play both online multiplayer and coop games. What setup is required to do that? It would be like any multi-player game. You are at the software level, not hardware. (don't overthink it.) :P >> All of the Vive games I play through Steam. Should I...

Is it too late to get a OG VIVE?

You are correct. Point retracted. :)

Is it too late to get a OG VIVE?

    >> Im more worried that they will stop supporting or making games for the OG Vive That isn't a very sound concern. They software is mostly independent of the hardware outside of the controller inputs. The VR community has been doing pretty well to make the underlying code transfer between...

    Solved! Oculus Rift choppy

Top of my head... - Check to make sure your Nvidia drivers are the ones for VR. - Check the positioning of your sensors. - Ensure there are no reflective surfaces in your area that are messing with your sensors. (mirrors, windows, etc.)

Oculus Rift + Touch now or wait for next gen

Interesting... while I can understand not being too impressed with the games, it is one of the first and IMO the best multi-player games out there, and it shows the ability of VR to become a social forum. It certainly won't beat Skyrim in complexity, but it's a well designed platforms for...

Oculus Rift + Touch now or wait for next gen

I'm curious, what is your experience with a Microsoft Mixed Reality headset in RecRoom? - Latency in the display refresh rate? - Performance and accuracy of the controllers? I'm using RecRoom as the test control, because it is a quality VR game that is available across the platforms. (really...

Oculus Rift + Touch now or wait for next gen

    >> I don't think it'll be too much longer for the PC-powered Oculus (and likely the Vive as well) to go that route soon. Yeaaaah.. that isn't quite sound reasoning. I mean.. that would be like, "I'm not going to buy an Xbox, because Microsoft is making a handheld, and I don't like cables."...
