Will change the thermal paste also help?

80 to 100

It is an i7 3537u ivy bridge Geforce 710m 8gb ram Do i jist change the thermal paste and clean it ? It is an acer aspire v5 571pg Pretty old one even in games the fps for 80 to 100 drops to 10 to 20 in csgo

Only in the task manager it was showing the cpu usage drops it shows a constant 30% usage Not in aida64 any reasons why it just said overheating detected also i didnt clean it from 5 to 7yrs

I used aida64 to find out whether my laptop is throttling or not but to my surprise my temps went up and down but my cpu usage was 100% through out but when i checked it in task manager the cpu usage was also dropping from 100% to 30% but it wasnt showing in aida64. New to computers and if it is...
