A very sudden turn of events ... Almost like a curse? :D Last night i developed a constant ringing in one of my ears, and now i can't use headphones for at least 20 days ... nice ... So i guess a 2.0 speakers(EDIFIER R1280T) it is ... I am sorry for loosing your time :(

I personally don't like all that Surround features. They just destroy the quality. So i like to keep it clean and simple. That means no headsets with 7.1 crap features. I am really considering the second hand АТХ-М40x now, because it will be the least expensive solution - 76$ ... or i can get...

I can get a second hand ATH-M40x at a very good price right now - 75$. Would that be better? I will still have to change/clean the ear pads and clean the headset with anti-bacterial solutions, but otherwise they look as good as new. But not sure what are the drawbacks of buying second hand...
