Nothing wrong with the HD it is an SSD (guess I should have been more clear on that). On this laptop the the connection to the motherboard is tape into a plug not solder.

I installed the new Motherboard, but it won't boot up. I think that I may have messed with the ram too much and it will not sit right. Any advice??

Also will this unit accept 4 gb of ram?

When I turn on the laptop I get the Gateway screen and the working circle below it but I cannot access the boot screen no matter what button I press. Then it goes to a blue screen that that gives me this message INACCESABLE_BOOT_DEVICE. It will then restart and repeat until I hold the power...
