How can I use powerpoint presentations (loaded on USB drive) on HDTV

I'm less concerned about the "looping" than I am the potential USB hurdles themselves. I suspect it will work just dandy within the limitations of the USB stick itself and the USB HDTV connection. Some may be limited to FAT32/4GB. Others may support 4:2:2 JPG images and not 4:4:4. If the OP...

How can I use powerpoint presentations (loaded on USB drive) on HDTV

Bust out your HDTV manual and determine what format files will play via the USB port ---- if it's a modern HDTV, there should be a bunch of different formats. ► Produce/convert your announcement media to those supported formats

Best gaming laptop under $1400 with touchscreen?

I'm not sure I see the wisdom in a $1,200 14-inch laptop for a little 'here and there' gaming that will primarily be used for office stuff --- especially one with "2+ hours" battery life and no dedicated SSD. laptop cpu overheating

i7 5500u maximum operating temperature --- 105°C And yeah, I'd say you could be throttling if you are pushing 100C. I'd try to take manual control of the fan, and crank it up. Start with Lenovo --- they may have a BIOS update if there is a heat issue.

    Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 crashing

The gremlins finally caught up with you? :) Remove it, and reinstall --- or give AMD OverDrive a try. A fresh re-install of Windows can also make a difference if that is an option as old installations build up quite a bit of junk. You could also remove and reinstall Elements.
