If you just boot it to the normal Windows with the stick, it might ask you: 'press any key to boot of usb', if it does just press some random key on the keyboard. It might also boot straight up into the usb. My sister has the same laptop and I had success upgrading it to Windows 10.

Maybe something like the Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15ICH 81FK003XMH? The battery will get you around 3-4 hours with some webbrowsing. It charges to 70% in 30 min. Note: Prices might be different, because my country has weird prices + it's on some sale.

I have an Asus K53SC, and there's one thing I'm wondering. What will be faster, Windows 7 or 8.1? Some laptops run better on 10, others on 7... I'm basically looking for fast internet, a decent bootup time & fast starting programs. Windows 10 is not an option (since 1703 there's been a glitch...

With a cpu intensive game (GTA 5) running, it's still at a very low clock. https://imgur.com/a/ICSVxEl The only reason I can think of why it would be this low is overheating, but it's getting temps which are normal, so that's not the issue right here. Very interesting...

I didn't know you have to double the ram speeds to get what you actually have. I will update on what the clocks are under load + I might try some modded drivers if I can find them.

I think I found the problem... but not the solution, see this cpu-z screenshot: https://imgur.com/XCQXePl it doesn't even hit 800mhz but it should be 2-3ghz. My ram is also running at 667mhz instead of 1333mhz which Asus says.

I will try those out tommorow! Need to watch some guides first because I don't wanna create low quality video's, so I will let you know which one I liked the most! Maybe even both... idk
