This may be true but there are other issues at play such as the HDMI standards themselves which have a problem producing the data bandwidth requirements to do 3d 1080p @ 60fps with high color bit depth.

They should included the PS3 as one of the biggest console flops of all time. Every successful console in history was based on the game content, not on a gimmick like Blue-Ray. Next time Sony should bet on the games and not their crap proprietary technology. The only reason why blue-ray won...

PS3 has no hope as gaming system. The only thing it was good for was making all my HD-DVD movies cheaper to buy. After Sony won the blue ray battle I got tons of HD-DVD movies for $5 to $6 a piece. That's at least one thing I can thank SONY for. And I only paid $100 for a blue-ray/HD-DVD...
