Coolscan

I have recently bought a second hand Coolscan IVED as I have an awful lot of slides and film. Never having used this tech before, I am experimenting. But..how do I create a folder? in which to save the scanned images? I guess I would mostly want to use JPEG. I'm not too computer savvy, so would...
