Dead Laptop

Is it feasible to physically remove and use the screen from a laptop as a second desktop monitor? The laptop is dead and can't even power on, but the screen should be ok. I am happy dismantling electronic kit and soldering and so on.

My laptop used to automatically shut down if not connected to a charger, but recently it went into Windows automatic repair on loop. However, it suddenly went dead while the screen was on the window automatic repair screen. Now it won't even charge, or even turn on. How do I fix this?

I have this laptop for couple mounth, it stais on the table always... today I tryed to turn it on and it was running for couple minutes then became dead... I can't turn it on, even charger light is not working when is plugged in... any ideas?
