My laptop died recently when I was watching a movie on the TV via hdmi cable.
Both my laptop and TV turned off simultaneously when the movie was playing.
PSU board and motherboard of my TV had to be changed.
my laptop won't boot at all, I tried all static removal techniques, still its dead.
* when I power my laptop the battery LED blinks red.(battery was already dead).
* screen goes dark (looks like no led backlight)
* no bios. keyboard doesn't respond.
*chipset heats up like crazy, usual heat in the processor.
* HDD works fine ( checked it on another PC).
* I replaced the dead ENE KB930 chip ( heated a lot - looked like internal short-circuit). no program though
is the mobo dead? or other parts dead too?
