Issues began on desktop after switching from Verizon to optimum. Tried resetting the cache and other guides. Works fine on other laptops and tablet. I tried a cable connected to the router with no success. It works for about 5 seconds after trying a fix before going back to not working.

We had to get a new modem. Our Apple products connected to the new network just fine and will connect to the internet and download email. Our Toshiba laptop says it's connected to the network but won't connect to the internet. It gives the error message "Cannot communicate with Primary DNS Server"
