Hi. This might be the dumbest question ever asked here. I'm trying to fix an old Powerbook G4 in which the HD died. Do I need to have a (dead or alive) hard drive installed in order for it to power up? Is it part of the power circuit? It's an A1107 1.67 17 incher. Thanks.
