I just want the best performing laptop under £500. I can not get a desktop as i want to move it around, take it to other people's houses and use for studying.

Thanks.

Yea i know but it is about £400 and that means i can spend an extra £100.
I think a $600 laptop would be around £500.

add in taxes, a nice carrying bag, some kickin headphones, so on and so forth. You will be much happier.

The only way you want to game for less than $700 is with a AMD APU so just throw out any Intel builds. And the HP notebook I posted is a sleekbook, which means great battery life, slim, light weight, and sexy as hell. Personally the HP notebook I listed is only missing a SSD and a touchscreen in my eyes, and its a perfect notebook. I cant make a different recommendation.

I cannot find your recommendation anywhere on UK websites. So if you could find another one it would be very helpful.
I saw this - http://www.ebuyer.com/479753-lenovo-ideapad-z585-laptop-mad6duk
It looks pretty good as you can crossfire the iGPU and the GPU. I dont know how well this performs compared to an i3 3120m and a GT630m. Keep in mind the Intel option is £100 cheaper.

Try this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D3F9HT4/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00D3F9HT4&linkCode=as2&tag=b0b929-20

I cannot find the other one I was thinking, but this one is a lot like the one you just listed but with the next generation hardware. If it is too expensive though the one you listed is a pretty good system still. Not the best one I have seen in that price range thinkfor gaming, but I cannot find the other one I am looking for sadly.

According to this they should be out in July of 2013, which was last month. So if they arnt out I would be calling HP letting them know about it. I still stand by my recommendation. If I was you I would order it on a American website and have it shipped.

I cant find it anywhere but i have found a similar one and this is £425 which is quite expensive compared to this one. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C9UTMOO/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=computers
The GT 630m is better than the iGPU of your suggested laptop therefore it should be much better at gaming.

You make your pick, but Im telling you the sleekbook will perform better, and will be a much better machine.

I have looked at benchmarks between the two and the GT 640m beats the 7500g in every game. Plus it is cheaper so it is a win win.

Could you link a specific system instead of just a review of the design for an entire series.
