$1000 Gaming Laptop

Yes or no? It will be used for light video editing with Adobe Premiere and digital design on Photoshop. I'll also be using it for games like GTA, BeamNG, No Mans Sky and stuff like that. I know the new 1070 and 1080 m GPUs are supposed to release soon but if they aren't out by the end of August or at least a confirmed release date then I'm not waiting becuase I have been waiting for about a month now and with school I need a laptop. https/www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01578ZK9A?vs=1

The best you would be able to get for that money would be a 965m or 970m. Both are really good cards so you shouldn't find yourself longing for more. Never hold out on buying a new peice of tech just because a newer version is coming out in a month or so. The prices on laptops with the new gpus will be inflated for the first few months they are out.

That gigabyte with the ssd is a little over budget but should perform pretty well. Ssd is worth it if you can stretch the budget.

I would really prefer a 17.3" and I have the $1000 for anywhere and $1150 on Amazon Prime because I have gift cards from returning some things the past few months

I think Ima go with this one. The boot speeds don't bother me to much because I have a desktop that only has a 1TB SSD. If you find anything equivalent but thinner(add $100) if needed that would be awesome I have about 3 weeks till I order t becuase that's when I get paid
