Companies that regularly have business contacts with Russia, China, Japan or some other country with a non-Latin alphabet will probably find the ability to change keyboard alphabet hugely valuable. Sounds like a nice thing for such companies, but for the home user it's just overpriced junk...

Wonder how many people bought the previous one.

Something tells me they sold enough to be convinced that a spinoff would also be successful...

The only use I can see for this overkill is that you can have a different porn clip playing on every key simultaneously - oh the possibilities!

Any number of real and practical uses where the price tag is peanuts. But still, the actual customers are probably those with six or seven figure incomes and want something new to show off.

I could honestly see a single OLED screen the size of a keyboard with a clear silicone overlay that would allow for tactile key sense. Wouldn't this ultimately be cheaper than a screen for each key and still perform the same task?

Even better, you can have the clip spread over all the keys...

[citation][nom]Morgan3rd[/nom]So you can touch type? I dunno I can't really imagine there being too many uses for this keyboard. But I wouldn't be surprised if they could sell 100-500 of them.[/citation]

Because the idea would fall under common sense and practical as opposed to novel.

I'd buy one. It's cooler than cool, I can show off to my buds and it still is cheaper than coke. Kind of like my sports car, except the sports car gets me laid better.

Mid-life crisis, here we come...
