144hz monitor + laptop

So i have an MSI GE72 Apache Pro gaming notebook with gtx 970m and i7-6700. My question is what cable do i need to have to run a 144hz monitor? I get about 200-300 fps on CS:GO so i was considering buying a 144hz monitor because i want to get better at the game. I have and hdmi and a mini display port on my laptop. I'm pretty sure that the gtx900 support hdmi 2.0 so how would i be able to hook everything up?
