Hi
I have a pair of 75W diamond 9 bookshelf speakers, and am currently looking for a amp for them. I have been previously recommended to get a 150W stereo amp, but not sure what to look for.
Any recommendations?

Cheers
Daniel

Wharfedale suggests a max of 75 watts per channel. 150 watts x 2 would be excessive.
Just about any stereo receiver or integrated amp will work fine. They are good enough speakers that you want something entry level audiophile rather than low end digital. Depending on your price range a used unit would probably be your best option. Anything with 40 to 100 watts per channel will be fine. If you sit far from the speakers or like your music loud then go towards the higher end of the range but don't forget quality and quantity are separate things. If you like bass then a subwoofer might be a better investment than more power.
