Hello everyone, here's my laptop config and my problem

17 R4 (Alienware)

i7 7820HK @ 2.8ghz

32gb DDR4 2400

GTX 1080 8gb GDDR5x

It's not a myth, Dell put ridiculous thermal paste on Alienware laptops.

L've recently got mine repasted by a pro.

It was 2 weeks ago, and since then everything was just fine. Big temps drop, from 85-100 to 65-80. Incredible.

And suddenly, within a couple of days, thoses nightmare-like temps were back.

I assume if that new thermal paste was THAT shitty, it wouldn't have lasted 2 weeks, not even 2 hours. No, thermal paste don't dry up that fast.

So it's obviously a software problem. And beside the temps, my laptop has becoming incredibly slow. Like I click or tap and there's a 2 seconds delay for each action.

L've updated each driver, but not gpu's. It's been 1 week since GeForce experience don't want to install the new graphics pilot.

L've try straight outta the Nvidia website but the standalone installer didn't succeed either.

L'm currently on the virus track, with Malwarebytes and ESET running. L've also been running a full CGCleaner session before.

That far Malwarebytes found 5 threats, all classified as "PUP.Optional.conduit"

Any tips ? Can it be thermal induced ? Thanks
